A conference of the Student Volunteer Committee, to which all members of the University are invited, will be held in Brooks House tonight at 8 o'clock. The subject of the conference will be "Friendly Visiting Among the Poor." Among the speakers will be Miss Z. D. Smith, general secretary of the Boston Associated Charities; Miss Mary L. Birtwell, general secretary of the Cambridge Associated Charities, and Mr. Stephen P. Cabot. Discussion will follow the address.
