Singles--W. H. Laverack defeated E. Leonard, 6-1, 6-4; R. A. Bidwell defeated R. Stearns, by default; S. H. Derby defeated H. O. Stickney, 6-3, 6-2; C. L. Cole defeated E. Fischel, 6-3, 6-4; R. Bishop defeated H. McK. Jones, 6-4, 6-4.

Doubles--Kendall and Penhallow defeated Cook and Stickney, 6-4, 9-7; W. Fischel and McConnell defeated Stevenson and Sylvester, 6-3, 6-2; Moore and Jones defeated Lang and Blake, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0.

The following matches are to be played today at the times stated:

Singles--At 2.30--W. D. Herrick vs. M. G. Beaman; at 2.45--W. H. Laverack vs. R. A. Bidwell, R. Bishop vs. S. E. More; at 4.00--S. H. Derby vs. C. L. Cole, O. J. Ives vs. winner of Herrick-Beaman match.

Doubles--At 4.00 -- Kendall and Penhallow vs. Putnam and Rotch; Mason and George vs. Leaycraft and Weather-wax; Laverack and Leonard vs. Beaman and Goodrich.
