Fifty-six candidates for the lacrosse team have been practicing on Holmes Field every afternoon for the last ten days and have so rapidly mastered stick-work that the goals were set up yesterday and a regular game played. Up to this time, however, very few Freshmen have come out, Several more are needed in order that a representative Freshman team may be formed to play in the interclass games next spring. For these games cups will be offered, and from the several class teams the University team will be selected.
Freshmen who wish to manage the Freshman class team are asked to leave their names at 65 Thayer at once. The most efficient class manager will be made assistant manager of the University team.
