Hockey Games.

The University hockey team defeated the Sophomores yesterday afternoon by a score of 9 to 0. Neither team made a very good showing, which was partly due to the shortened distance between the goals, necessitated by the bad condition of the ice. The Sophomores did little team work, but Metcalf and Pruyn did good individual playing. The best feature in the work of the University team was the playing of Russell and Goodridge round the goal. The teams lined up as follows: University--Goodridge, goal; Russell, point; Vanderpool, coverpoint; Hardy, Laverack, Hoxie, Beardsell, forwards. 1902 -- Perkins, goal; Stevenson, point; Metcalf, coverpoint; Winsor, Seaver (Chaffee), Burgess (Cook), Pruyn, forwards.

This afternoon at 3.30 o'clock the Harvard hockey team will play against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology team.
