Leiter Cup Series

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Entries for the Leiter Cup Series are now open and may be handed to H. H. Murdock, secretary, or placed in the blue-book at Leavitt's. Entries must give the name of the team, name of the captain, and names of at least nine players. Entries of old teams must specify which men played on last year's team.

I. Old teams desiring to re-enter must have at least three of last year's team. Otherwise they can have any man in good standing in the University.

II. No new teams may have more than three men who have played on 'Varsity, 2d 'Varsity or class teams.

III. Entries close April 7.

IV. Games begin Wednesday, April 25. Schedule will be announced in CRIMSON about April. 11. Individuals not belonging to any team but wishing to play may enter their names together with the positions they wish to play. From these names the committee will make up one or more additional teams if possible.

In order to give men who have been dropped but have showed up well in the Leiter Cup Series another chance the following plan has been adopted:

After the Leiter Cup Series is ended the captain of the winning team will, with the assistance of the other captains, select 18 men from the men who have played in the Leiter series. These men will practice a few days under his direction, when he will select a team which will play a match game against the 2d 'Varsity on May 14.

From the results of this game the final selection for the 2d 'Varsity will be made.
