Freshman Crew Defeats Worcester.

The Freshman crew defeated the Worcester High School eight on the mile and a half course on Lake Quinsigamond Saturday afternoon, winning out by three boat lengths. Time, 8 minutes. From the start the Freshmen had little difficulty in pulling away from the school crew, who rowed a short, hurried stroke of 40 or more to the minute. The Freshmen seldom exceeded 31. The conditions for the race were most favorable, as only a slight breeze was blowing.
