A movement has been started at Cornell University to adopt Harvard's rowing club system. For this purpose the president of the Cornell Navy, R. F. Chatillon, has secured from the officers of the Weld Boat Club the system of its management and with this as a basis, has organized a similar institution called the Francis Boat Club. Owing to lack of accomodations its membership is temporarily restricted, but it is hoped in the fall that all men wishing to row can be taken care of. The club is conducted by a board of seven managers, consisting of the officers of the club and two members, graduate and undergraduate. Arrangements have been made to row the Syracuse University crew at Syracuse on June 15.
