Courses of Instruction.

Attention is called by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences to the following changes which have been made in the courses of instruction since the Announcement was issued in May.

Semitic Languages and History.

Courses 1, 12, and 3 2 will be given by Professor Lyon.

Courses 4, 5, and 20a, bracketed in the Announcement, will be given.

Course 7 is to be given twice a week, at hours not yet determined.

Course 8 will be given Monday, Wednesday, at 2.30.

Course 10 will be given once a week.

Course 11 will be given once a week.

The Classics.

Professor Greenough will be absent during the year.

Greek 13 1 and Latin 14 1 will be omitted.

Latin 9 will be omitted, but students who have passed in Latin 7 will be allowed to take that course and count it for the second time.

Classical Philology 31 will be given as a half-course in the first half-year.

Latin 3 will be given by Asst. Professor Howard; Latin 7 by Asst. Professor C. P. Parker; Latin 8 1 by Professor Smith; Classical Philology 22 2 and 63 1 by Professor Minton Warren.

The following new course is announced:--

Class. Phil. 30 1 hf. Introduction to Greek Palaeography.--Lectures and Practical Exercises. Half-course (first half-year). Monday, Wednesday, at 3.30. Professor Wright. (VIII)

English.

Course 2 will be given by Professor Kittredge only,

Government.

Course 18 1 will be given on Wed. and Fri., at 10. (III)

The following new course is announced:--

8. Legal Institutions of Europe in the Middle Ages.--Early Germanic Law; Mediaeval French and German law; Revival of the Roman Law. Mon., Wed., Fri., at 3.30. Dr. Lapsley. (VIII)

Economics.

Courses 2 and 3 will be given by Asst. Professor Carver.

Course 6 will be given by Professor Taussig.

Course 12a 1 hf. (International Payments) will be given by Mr. Meyer in the first half-year, on Mon., Wed., Fri., at 9.

Course 13 will be given by Asst. Professor Carver as a half-course in the second half-year.

Course 20d will be given by Professor Taussig as a half-course in the first half-year on Wed., Fri., at 2.30.

Course 9 will be given as a half-course in the second half-year, on Tu., Th., Sat., at 10, by Mr. W. F. Willoughby. (XI)
