Dr. Charles Peabady, Ph.D. '93, of the Archaeological Department of Andover, undertook during May and June some excavations for the Peabody Museum in the region of the Mississippi Delta. He was assisted by W. C. Farabee 3G. From the two mounds which he examined he collected ten boxes of specimens--skeletons, points of arrows, lances and javelins, and a few pots and stone implements.
