The excursion to the Boston Penal Institutions on Deer Island, conducted by the Social Service Committee will leave the Eastern Avenue wharf, on the north side of South Ferry, at 2.15 this afternoon. Men intending to go should leave Harvard Square for the subway at 1.15, transferring at Boylston street to an Atlantic loop car. About forty men have already signified their intention of going. In addition to the arrangements announced in Saturday's CRIMSON, the committee has secured Mr. John Koren of Boston to give an address on "The Problems of Penal Institutions."
