The Seniors and Juniors will each hold one trial to select the class debating teams. At these trials each speaker will be given eight minutes, and first and second teams of three men will be retained. The Senior trial will be held tonight at 7 in Sever 11, and the Junior trial will be held at the same time and place tomorrow. The judges for the Senior trial will be W. M. Chadbourne 2L., H. F. Wolff 3L., and C. B. Boise 3L.
The Sophomores and Freshmen will each hold two trials for the selection of speakers for their class teams. At the first trials each man will be allowed five minutes to speak, and six men will be retained. At the second trials these six men, three on a side, will hold regular debates, each man being allowed eight minutes for his main speech and four minutes for rebuttal. First teams of three men will be selected, and the other men will be retained to form second teams. All the alternates will be chosen by the coaches from the second teams.
