Mr. J. D. Pennock of the Solvaye Process Company of Syracuse, N. Y., will deliver a lecture on "The Retort Coke Oven and its Chemical Products" next Friday afternoon at 4.30 in the Mineralogical Lecture Room. Mr. Pennock is one of the foremost chemists of the country. The lecture will be delivered before a meeting of the Mining Club, but will be open to all members of the University, and all men interested in mining or chemistry are especially urged to attent.
