The University basketball team in its first game of the season on Saturday defeated Tufts in the Gymnasium by the score of 49 to 4. Harvard had excellent team work and outclassed Tufts in every department of the game. The best individual work was done by Gilles and Fosdick for Harvard and by Clifford for Tufts.
