W. P. Blagden '04 and W. S. Warland '03 to Play for University Championship.

In the semi-final round of the University tennis tournament yesterday, W. P. Blagden '04 defeated E. H. George 3L., 6-3, 6-3, and W. S. Warland '03, defeated R. Bishop 2L., 6-1, 7-5. The finals between Blagden and Warland will be played at 3 o'clock. Warland was a member of the winning University team which represented Harvard in the Intercollegiate Tournament held at Harverford earlier in October, and both Warland and Blagden were on the team which defeated yale in singles last May.

The doubles will continue today. Men must be at the courts on time; scores must be left at the CRIMSON office before 7 p. m. The matches in the doubles yesterday resulted as follows: Preliminary round--Mason and Adams defeated Downs and Stone, 9-7, 6-3; Prentice and de Rham defeated Derby and Wendell, 6-1, 12-10. First round--Ivy and Wadsworth defeated Swartzel and Collester, 6-3, 6-4; Ives and Langmaid defeated Bird and Hunt, 6-4, 7-5; Greenough and Sulloway defeated Catlin and Taussig, 6-0, 6-1. The following matches will be played today:

At 3--Rothermel and Fosdick vs. Drake and Dana; Colwell and Perine vs. Prentice and de Rham; Drinkwater and George vs. Mitchell and Thayer.

At 4--Ivy and Wadsworth vs. winner of Rothermel-Fosdick and Drake-Dana match.
