Preparatory work for candidates for a cross country team will begin on Soldiers Field on Monday afternoon. The men will be divided into two squads which will run on alternate days. The two milers in yesterday's games will not be called out at that time but will be given an opportunity to rest.

The University will probably enter a team of five men in the run of the Intercollegiate Cross Country Association to be held in New York on Thanksgiving Day.
