University Squad to Commence on Machines.--Freshmen Begin Wednesday.

The training for the University and Freshman crews will commence early next week. The University squad will begin work on Tuesday, and the Freshman candidates on Wednesday. The work will consist of the usual practice on the machines and in the rowing tank, and the two squads will work for the present only on alternate days. This preliminary training will continue to the beginning of the mid-year examinations, after which the regular daily work will commence. Vail and Wray will coach.
