Beginning of Cricket Work.

The candidates for the cricket team will be called out March 3, and indoor work will be begun at once. The practice will be held in the afternoon and each man will have an hour's work in the gymnasium cage three times a week. As soon as the weather permits it, outdoor practice will be started and the squad will be cut down to a first and second team.

The outdoor practice will be on Soldiers Field, where a temporary practice wicket has been made. The prospects for the team are fairly good as an unusually large number of old players have returned to college.
