A Newell crew composed of Seniors rowed on the river yesterday afternoon, starting from a temporary float at the University boat house. The order was as follows: Stroke, Brownell; 7, Bullard; 6, Smith; 5, Gregg; 4, Morris; 3, Platt; 2, Champollion; bow, Low; cox., Forbes.

At the Weld the float was not in position, but it is expected that rowing will begin there this afternoon.
