The work of the track team this spring will begin as heretofore with exercises in the Gymnasium. The men will be given chest-weight and dumb-bell drill and open-air running. Practice in starting will also be given to the sprinters, hurdlers, broad jumpers, high jumpers, and pole vaulters. Although Mr. Graham, owing to illness, will not be able to attend to the men for about two weeks, it is hoped to have them in condition when he begins coaching.
For the present, the jumpers and hurdlers should report in the Gymnasium on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3.30. As many men as possible should join the morning squad at 12 o'clock, in order to avoid overcrowding in the afternoon squads.
It is expected that the men will go on the track about the middle of this month. On April 4 the class games will be held, on April 10 the University games, and possibly at the end of April there will be a set of handicap games. The date of the dual meet with Yale has not yet been definitely settled.
