The first and second Freshman eights have been considerably shaken up since they were formed and yesterday a number of fresh changes were made. The crews rowed in the following orders:

Second--Stroke, Richmond; 7, Eayrs; 6, McLeod; 5, Nice; 4, Leaycraft; 3, Abbott; 2, Heard (Lamson); bow, Moot; cox., Green.

Those mentioned have been retained on the squad and the rest have been dropped.

Coach Bancroft has been giving the men rather light work, directing the rowing form the launch or from a single. The crews have, brushes for short distances, and in these the first shows a marked superiority both in form and speed.
