The funeral of services of the late Professor Ferdinand Bocher were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Appleton Chapel. Reverend Edward Hall of Cambridge after reading several passages from the Bible, offered an impressive prayer and then gave the benediction During the services, music from two old French composers, Couperin and Dumond, was played. The following acted as pall-bearers: President Eliot, Professor J. M. Pierce, Professor J. W. White, Professor C. H. Grandgent, Professor A. C. Coolidge, Professor C. H. C. Wright and Dr. Driver. The interment was at Mount Auburn cemetery.
