The Freshman football team will play the Groton School team at Groton today, in the first game of the season. From tackle to tackle the Freshman team is very weak and slow, but is showing improvement on the ends and in the backfield. L. Carpenter '04 has had charge of the coaching and has been assisted by J. F. Kdder '05, G. R. Metcalf '06, and others.

The Groton team has developed well and compares favorably with teams from the school in the past. The game today promises to be close and hard fought. Following is the line-up: FRESHMEN.  GROTON.
