JUNIORS DEFEATED SENIORS.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Juniors defeated the Seniors in the first game of the interclass basketball series last night by a score of 37 to 0. The Juniors scored 21 of their points in the first half. Both teams played hard, but the excellent team work of the Juniors, and the entire lack of it on the part of the Seniors, resulted in the high score.

The summary: 1905  1904 R. O. Hall, l.f.  r.f., E. O. Hall Dapping, r.f.  l.f., Bennett Snyder, c.  c., Nottage Smith, l.g.  r.g., Henshaw Swift, Louis, r.g.  l.g., Hill, Atwood

Goals--Snyder 9, Smith 5, Hall 2, Dapping. Goals from free tries-Snyder 3. Free tries missed--Snyder 2, Bennett 4, E. O. Hall. Fouls--Nottage 2, Henshaw, Hill, Swift 2, Dapping, R. O. Hall, Louis. Referee--J. W. Gilles 2L. Umpire--A. T. Snyder 3L. Timekeeper--E. L. Grant '06. Time--15-minute halves.

The second game of the interclass basketball series will be played in the Gymnasium at 8 o'clock this evening, between the Sophomores and Freshmen. The 1906 team is composed of almost the same men as last year but it has been greatly strengthened by developing a swift passing game. Lack of practice has handicapped the Freshmen team, which has, however, several experienced players. Following is the line-up: 1906  1907 Gallagher, l.f.  r.f., McDonnell Ware, r.f.  l.f., Conann Linsey, c.  c., Smith Montgomery, l.g.  r.g., Saul Griffiths, r.g.  l.g., Goode
