The regular rehearsals of the Freshman musical clubs will begin shortly after the close of the mid-year period and will thereafter be held three or four times a week. This will afford ample time for preparation for the concerts which will probably take place in April. At this early date it is impossible to make an accurate estimate of the available material of the three clubs. The Banjo Club has made rapid progress and shows marked promise of development due to the fact that a large percentage of its members are also playing with the University Club. The Mandolin Club, on the other hand, is heavily handicapped by the small amount of University club material which it contains. The number of men retained for the Glee Club was exceptionally large, but in spite of this the material is rather crude. The temporary leaders of the clubs have not yet been appointed.
