The International Chess match between Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbia, and Oxford and Cambridge will take place on March 27 and 28. The American universities will play at the rooms of the Boston Athletic Association, as they did last year. There seems a fair prospect of winning, as four of the six men played on last year's team.
The American team will be made up of the following men and will probably play in this order: C. T. Rice (H); J. F. Sawin (Y); F. H. Sewall (C); C. S. Richardson (P); H. A. Keeler (C); P. W. Bridgman (H); G. W. Tucker (C), substitute. The make-up of the English team is uncertain.
