Twenty men have entered the novice chess tournament. The entries have been divided into three sections, the two best men from each section to qualify for the final round. The first round in which each man will play every other man in his section, must be finished before noon on May 16, and the scores handed in to P.S. Estes, 24 Ware Hall. Steins will be given to the winner of the tournament, and to the runner-up.
The Chess Club plans to hold regular weekly meetings, either on Monday or Friday night, during the rest of the College year.
