J. H. Converse 2M., Ineligible.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a recent meeting of the Harvard-Yale Arbitration Committee, consisting of R. D. Wrenn '95, representing Harvard. O. T. Bannard, representing Yale, and W. Meikleham, held in New York, J. H. Converse 2M. was declared ineligible. The committee decided that the relay races against Pennsylvania and Georgetown in the Boston Athletic Association games, which Converse entered in his Sophomore year, constituted an intercollegiate contest. As Converse has represented the University for three years since he entered these relay races, under the four year rule he can no longer compete.

The committee now has under consideration a special rule which shall cover the question of the eligibility of a competitor in all intercollegiate relay races.
