No A.B. in Graduate School.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Faculty has recently voted that the degree of A.B. or S.B. shall not hereafter be conferred upon students in the Graduate School, but only upon students who have been residents at the University for at least one year, as undergraduates in regular standing.

It has hitherto been possible for graduates of other colleges who fail in the Graduate School to obtain the degree of A.M. at the end of the year, to take instead the A.B. or S.B. By the new rule the Bachelor's degree will not be conferred in the Graduates School, but graduate students desiring to obtain the degree may not later than the Christmas recess withdraw from the Graduate School, and enrol in the Colleges, receiving the Bachelor's degree with the regular graduating class.
