To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
Saturday is Memorial Day and every Harvard man should make a point of attending the Memorial exercises in Sanders Theatre, thus honoring the memory of the Harvard men who died in the Civil and Spanish Wars. In order that the Memorial exercises may be dignified and worthy of the cause for which they were instituted, a large number of men from all classes must be in the procession that marches with the Grand Army Post from University Hall to Sanders. The exercises in Sanders consist only of the singing of "Fair Harvard" and "America" by the Glee Club and the Memorial address by Mr. Austen G. Fox '69 of New York. It is hoped everyone will take this opportunity to show reverence to the soldiers who sacrificed themselves in the war and will make Saturday a true Memorial Day. R. P. '03.
