At a meeting of the presidents of State Clubs and captains of State baseball teams, held last night, it was decided to continue the State baseball series next year with a view to making it a permanent annual event. Early next fall a meeting of the presidents and secretaries of State Clubs will be held to draw up rules to govern the series and to discuss various methods of strengthening the clubs. At the beginning of the baseball season next spring the various State Clubs will elect captains and the schedule of games will be arranged. Cups will again be given to the team winning the championship, and it is hoped that all the State Clubs in the University will enter. A.L. Thayer '04 was elected manager of next year's series.
The playing of a football series in the fall has been proposed, but no definite plans for this have as yet been made.
