Mr. Frederic A. Lucas of the Brooklyn Institute will give an illustrated lecture on "Ancient Birds and their Associates," this evening at 8 o'clock in the Fogg Lecture Room, under the auspices of the Natural History Society. In addition to describing prehistoric birds, such as the toothed species discovered in Kansas, and the gigantic birds of Madagascar and New Zealand, Mr. Lucas will speak of the characteristic life of the various geologic periods, especially of the Jurassic.
Admission to the lecture will be by ticket until 7.55 o'clock, when the doors will be opened to the public. Tickets may be obtained without charge by applying to E. S. Bryant 56 Plympton street.
