New London, Conn., June 12, 1905.--The University crews arrived here safely this afternoon. Upon its arrival the eight rowed to the Navy Yard in short stretches at a slow stroke. The men rowed more smoothly and had better control on the recovery. The four-oar was sent upstream for a mile, and pulled a snappy stroke well together. A great improvement has been made in the quarters, with the addition of a large new dining hall and kitchen. The crews are housed in separate buildings.

Yesterday afternoon the following men left the Square at 2 o'clock for New London: Filley, Meier, Bacon, Lawson, Newhall, Flint, Tappan, Burchard, Farley, George, Gill, Corlett, Chase, Montgomery, Pleasonton, Wray, Emerson, Whitney, C. R. Nutter '93 and H. W. Manahan M.'94.
