At a meeting of the Corporation yesterday, Edgar Huidekoper Wells '98 was appointed Assistant Dean of Harvard College. The new office has been created to relieve the pressure of work now failing upon the Dean. Mr. Wells has been assistant and instructor in English since 1901. He will begin his new duties at once.
