Upperclass Debating Organized

At a general meeting of upperclassmen interested in debating in Dane Hall last night the plan, recently proposed by the University Debating Council for the organization of two rival upperclass debating clubs, was unanimously adopted. M. C. Leckner '07, president of the Council, presided, and speeches were made by Professor Baker and by several undergraduates.

A temporary division of the men who signified their intention of joining one of the debating clubs was made by a committee appointed for that purpose. The definite organization of both clubs, which will temporarily be known as the Forum and the Agora, will be effected with in a week. The membership in each for the present is as follows:
