Freshmen Defeated Technology

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team defeated the Institute of Technology sophomore eleven yesterday by a score of 5 to 0.

Neither team played well together and there was a great deal of fumbling. Gilbert made some good gains round end and outside of tackle, almost without interference.

The Freshmen kept the ball most of the first half, but were unable to score. In the second half, Technology repeatedly gained through the line, but by fumbling and penalties for holding lost the ball on their one-yard line, and Gregory for the Freshmen scored the only touchdown of the game. Fish missed the goal.

The Freshman line-up:

l.e., d'Este; l.t., Macleod, Forster; l.g., West; c., Morris; r.g., Fish; r.t., Hall; r.e., Broun; q.b., Page, Galatti; l.h.b., Gilbert; r.h.b., Gregory; f.b., Whittemore, Morton.
