Cornel West, Harvard Affiliates Call for University to Divest from ‘Israeli Apartheid’ at Rally
The Rev. William T. Manning D.D. vicar of St. Agnes Chapel, New York, will preach in Appleton Chapel tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock. Dr. Manning who is the first assistant of Dr. Morgan Dix in Trinity Parish. New York and will succeed him as rector of Trinity Church, is noted as a powerful speaker. He received the degree of doctor of divinity from the University of Nashville. Tennessee, in 1901. Dr. Manning has been successively rector of Trinity Church, Redlands, California: St. John's Church, Lansdowne, Pennsylvania and Christ Church, Nashville. At one time he held a professorship of theology in the University of the South.
All seats on the floor will be reserved for members of the University until 7.25 o'clock. Students of the University will enter at the south side door and electors of the University and their family's at the north side door.
Rev. Samuel A. Eliot D.D. '84 will conduct morning prayers from November 26 to November 30 inclusive, and Rev Henry Van Dyke D.D., h.'94 of inception will preach on the two following Sundays.
