U. of P. Basketball Arrangements

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The manager of the Pennsylvania basketball team notified the Intercollegiate Basketball Association yesterday that he would agree to the arrangement made by the association concerning the two games between Harvard and Pennsylvania, which were cancelled by the Pennsylvania management. By this arrangement, made at a meeting held in New York on Saturday, the two games will be counted as if each university had won and lost one game. At the time of the meeting Pennsylvania's representatives were unwilling to accept this ruling.

A representative of the New England Basketball League was present at the meeting, and it was decided that the winners of the two leagues should meet in a post-season series, of two out of three games, to decide the eastern championship.

The league referees met the members of the rules committee in order to secure a uniform interpretation of the rules at all games.

W. C. Chamberlin '08 represented Harvard at the meeting of the association, and on the rules committee. C. W. Randall '05 also represented the University on the latter body.
