1909 Basketball Lost to Andover

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman basketball team was defeated by Andover in the Borden Gymnasium at Andover yesterday afternoon by a score of 46 to 2. The captain of the Freshman team was unable to play owing to a sprained ankle and the consequent change in the line-up was to some degree accountable for the utter lack of team play displayed by the Freshmen. The Andover team had a great advantage in weight and surpassed the Freshmen in speed as well as accuracy in throwing baskets.
