Track Work Out-of-Doors Daily

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The track team is having daily practice on Soldiers Field. For the distance men a track has been improvised underneath the Stadium. The sprinters, hurdlers and the candidates for the broad jump have been running on the sidewalks along the side of the field. Mr. Quinn has been coaching daily the men who are trying for the weight events.

Owing to the fact that the first meet will be held in about two weeks, it is essential that this work be carried on at present, in order to put the men into condition for doing the hard work which will be begun as soon as the track is cleared.
