The annual Freshman debate with Exeter will be held at Exeter on April 28. Yesterday the Exeter debating team decided to support the negative side of the question, "Resolved, That the labor union principle of the closed shop is justifiable and should be supported."
The Exeter team is composed of M. L. Friedman, J. J. Hiatt, H. C. Long, and P. A. Merriam, alternate.
G. C. Goode, W. H. King, and A. C. Lurie, who will represent the Freshmen, have been working under the direction of A. Tulin 3L., who is coaching the team. They will now begin a series of practice debates with the second team, which is composed of R. C. Mulligan, F. Schenck, and E. T. Wentworth, from whom the alternate will be chosen shortly before the debate.
