The annual games of the Interscholastic Athletic Association of New England, held on Saturday in Mechanics' Hall, Boston, were easily won by Phillips Exeter Academy with the score of 36 1-2 points. Worcester Academy came second of the thirteen entrants with 19 points, and Volkmann School, Boston, third with 14 points.
Exeter won by all-round superiority, getting from three to five points in every event except the high jump. The Volkmann School team for the third time lowered the relay record of the Association, making a time of 3m. 13 2-5s.
J. R. King of Worcester Academy made the best individual showing, by winning the 300-yard run, and shortly after overtaking his man in the relay race.
