Three changes were made yesterday in the order of the Freshman crew. Lunt was put in at number 6 instead of Severance, who displaced Ellis at 3. Mulligan, who was taken up on Saturday from the second boat, where he had been rowing at number 4, was again tried in the same position in the first crew. Crandall, moved from 4 to 2 on Saturday, remained at 2.
In practice yesterday the crew rowed down to Harvard bridge in stretches, from there to the Union Boat Club in one reach, and finally over the whole distance of 3 and 3-8 miles up stream to the boathouse.
The order of the first crew follows: Stroke, J. Cutler; 7, Rackemann; 6, Lunt; 5, Faulkner; 4, Mulligan; 3, Severance; 2, Crandall; bow, E. Cutler; cox., Wise.
