B. Dorman defeated G. A. Gordon, 6-1, 7-5; M. T. Ackerland defeated M. Wertheim, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3; S. W. Howland defeated H. E. Straw, 8-6, 6-1; K. S. Johnson defeated W. H. Y. Hackett, 6-3, 7-5; A. M.
