New Eight-Oared Shell Finished

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University eight-oared shell for this year, built by William H. Davy of Cambridge, is ready for delivery. The woodwork of the beat was finished over two weeks ago, but completion has been prevented by delay in the arrival of the outriggers. In design the beat is essentially the same as last year's, but weighs about 15 pounds less. The shell is 60 feet long, 23 inches beam, and weighs approximately 240 pounds.
