S. Welch '04 has been appointed captain of the second cricket team.

The petition posted in the Union asking that upperclassmen be given preference in the assignment of Yard rooms has been signed by 130 men.

The option on the new golf course at Waltham expires at the end of this week. $3,000 of the $1-.000 in cash needed to purchase the course still remains to be collected.

The address by Congressman McCall which was to take place, under the auspices of the Republican Club, on Wednesday, April 9, has been postponed until Thursday, April 24.

Professor James sailed for Liverpool on the Ivernia Tuesday afternoon. After a few weeks stay in England he will go to Scotland, where he will deliver at the University of Edinburgh the Gifford lectures, a course of ten lectures, dealing with religious and philosophical topics.
