A conference of all the charity workers in Cambridge will be held in Phillips Brooks House on Tuesday, April 16, at 4 o'clock, under the auspices of the Cambridge Associated Charities. Mr. C. C. Carstens of New York, who has recently been appointed secretary of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Children, will speak on the plans and method of the society in dealing with cases. Mr. Carstens has until lately been connected with the Charity Organization Society of New York and is a well-known worker in charity movements. Dean Hodges of the Episcopal Theological Seminary will preside, and various charity workers will take part in the discussion.
The conference will be open to the public.
