1910 Plays Stone's School at 4

The Freshman baseball team will play Stone's School on the Freshman diamond this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The Stone's School nine has defeated Groton, 2 to 1, and Noble and Greenough's, 6 to 5, but the chances of winning today's game are decidedly in favor of the Freshman. Lanigan, who has been kept out of the box an account of a lame arm, will pitch his first whole game of the season.

Lanigan Elected 1910 Baseball Captain.

At a meeting of the Freshman baseball team immediately after the practice yesterday afternoon, C. L. Lanigan, of Lawrence, was elected captain. Lanigan prepared for College at Andover, where he played for three years on the baseball team as pitcher and left fielder. During the winter, he played forward on the Freshman hockey team.
