Dr. Elwood Worcester, rector of Emmanuel Church, Boston, lectured in the Living Room of the Union last evening on "The Emmanuel Church Movement." The leaders in this work believe it to be the duty of religion to minister to the sick and the sorrowful with help and suggestion. The fundamental doctrine of the Emmanuel Church is the unity of body and soul. In order to cure one both must be treated. The Emmanuel movement has done a great work among consumptives, in recognition of which the Church has received an award from the International Tuberculosis Congress.
