Fast Hockey Practice Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Regular hockey practice was resumed yesterday afternoon in the Stadium after a three days' lay-off, because of poor ice and need of rest. In a line-up between the first and second teams for two 15-minute periods the first team defeated the second by a score of 8 to 4. In general the play was spirited and fast. The first team made a score on the second by excellent team work in less than 10 seconds after the first period began. A few minutes later Foster carried the puck the whole length of the rink and scored a goal. During the rest of the period the first team continued to outplay the second, scoring several more goals by good team work and clever individual play. In the second period many substitutes were tried out and several of them showed up well. The second team seemed to get together better and scored several times by good team play. The two teams lined up as follows: FIRST TEAM.  SECOND TEAM.
