The University swimming and water polo teams will meet Yale this evening at 8 o'clock in the annual dual contest, at the Brookline Swimming Tank. The University team is handicapped by the lack of practice brought about by inadequate tank facilities and by the loss of several good swimmers. The water polo team has been coached by J. B. Green and Dean James of Brookline. For Harvard, P. Withington '09 is easily the star, having recently swam the 100 yards in 59 seconds at the interclass meet; R. F. Hoyt '10 and T. G. Aspinwall '10 are also fast in the dashes.
The 1911 relay team will swim the Yale 1911 team 200 yards, each man racing 50 yards. The Harvard Freshman team this year is very fast.
